JOSH MYERS, PRESIDENT

Josh Myers is the President of Media City Tax Group, an innovative full service accounting firm located in Burbank, CA with clients nationwide from Seattle, WA to Atlanta, GA.  He began his career at his parents accounting firm in Prescott Valley, AZ, gaining experience with a wide range of small businesses including construction, insurance, and real estate.  Eventually he became a staff accountant at Myers & Myers, CPA where he began building his client list.  

With over 13 years of experience, Josh has built long lasting relationships with his clients including being an ethics officer for a company he has worked with for years.  Josh is constantly undergoing the industry’s most comprehensive and up-to-date training so he can better service his clients.  Josh specializes in small and medium sized businesses, focusing on the entertainment and service industry.  He is also a proud member of the National Society of Accountants and has been a QuickBooks Pro-Advisor for many years.

ELIJAH JAMAL, BOOKKEEPER

Elijah Jamal is a bookkeeper with Media City Tax Group. A Chicago native, Elijah worked for Intuit Quickbooks as a Customer Care Agent in 2014 where he learned how to troubleshoot Quickbooks Online and Quickbooks Desktop. He transitioned to the MetLife Billing Department to gain additional experience in invoices and billings. After moving to California, Elijah began working in accounting for Media City Tax Group in 2016. Has been working with Media City Tax Group ever since gaining knowledge and experience in Quickbooks Desktop and Quickbooks Online as a bookkeeper for many clients in the Southern California area.

Jenn Tarkowski, Manager of Operations

Jenn Tarkowski is the Manager of Operations at Media City Tax Group. She started her career in management in 2010 in Chicago IL, where she developed her skills in Profit & Loss management, Cash Flow analysis, and Customer Service. She took a brief hiatus from the business world to grow her family and make the move from the Windy City to sunny Orange County, California in 2014. In 2019, Jenn joined our team, with the goal of growing Media City’s client list while focusing on providing exemplary Customer Service, tailored to each client’s unique needs. She has helped grow not only our client list, but also our list of services and manages the day-to-day operations for our team.
